"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. "Great property a very short drive from Selfoss. We stayed a week in early November. The check in book is very thorough. I am very glad the beds were comfortable (rare these days with rental properties) and the owners were very quick to respond with all communication both prior and during our stay. "The link with all of the information wasn't working, and the hot pot didn't get used because of the broken link. Otherwise, the location was perfect for the southeast part of the Golden Circle, it was an easy drive from the airport/capital, and we saw some excellent Northern lights from the deck! "

"This cottage is well placed for exploring the west of Iceland, with Snaefellsness Penisula, Reykjavik and the golden circle route all within easy driving distance. "Just spent a week at the cabin with my family of 4 (kids are 12 and 15). The cabin had everything you’d need for a family trip. Loved having the sauna and hot tub after chilly days seeing the sights. Jon checked in with me right away to make sure we got in ok (we did!). Highly recommend this cabin!"
