"I decided to get the kids out of the house for a day or two. We came to Grand Rapids to see the Winter Festival. The employee checking is in was fantastic! He offered us a room upgrade and a late checkout time. Our room was perfect - so clean!"

"My stay here was excellent. My room, in fact The whole hotel was sparkling clean and well stocked. The lady at the front desk was friendly, nicely conversational and breakfast was outstanding although I did wish there were more fresh fruit selection but that is a minor request compared to all else that was offered. I was especially happy to see all the extras that could be added to the oatmeal, cereal, and hot waffles. The ONLY thing I’d like to bring attention to was the pool water temperature was very chilly, too cold for me to swim. Other than that small detail, my stay was outstanding. I will definitely stay again if needed, it was an excellent value for the reasonable price!!"

"A nice place downtown, and a bit more understated than some of the others. It's in an older building that's been reworked as a hotel, which can make for some cool spaces. Be sure to get a room down the hall from the elevator, as the outside floors are old and a bit squeaky, but the rooms themselves are nice and peaceful."
