Check in was a long process as front desk staff were more interested in having a casual conversation amongst themselves than taking care of us. Main hallways/elevator floors very dirty. Parking lot/flowerbeds had ALOT of trash in them. Restaurant was never open during our 3 night stay. Room was clean, but housekeeping never came in during our stay. Had to ask front desk for clean towels and toilet paper. The Raddison name used to mean quality......not this location.

We choose to stay at the Radisson Grand Rapids each year when we are in town for a conference. It is an easy drive to the downtown event center and offers a significant savings as compared to staying in downtown proper. Even though it is an older property, we have found it to be clean and comfortable.

This stay was pretty bad. To start it off I was given a Queen room when I paid for a King. No biggie, got that taken care of. Walk into my correct room and the door lock is broken, the carpet is ripped up and hanging out from under the ac unit. The shower leaked and the toilet had next to 0 pressure to flush. The bed was a whole other ordeal. It was what seemed to be a metal sheet with little napkins for pillows. The room also didn’t get cleaned at all during our stay and see had to ask for towels.

We were told the ownership just changed over two weeks ago and boy, do they not know what they’re doing. Were there any employees actually working? None of us waiting in the lobby knew. The rooms were not clean, it didn’t even look like the bedding and towels were changed out. All in all, I’d recommend not staying there.

Location was great for what we were doing, But we had 6th floor room hotel has 2 elevators and the one I got stuck in our 2nd night there and we heard from people that others had gotten stuck at least 4 times. Pool was freezing cold, hot tub was like 85degrees and the pool room was not heated well.

I booked this hotel for the restaurant so i didnt have to leave the property with the family for dinner. Unfortunately the restaurant isnt operational. It "opens" for breakfast where they only offer bagels and cereal for a charge.

My expectations were not high being that this hotel is rated 3 stars, HOWEVER, the reason i reserved a room there is due to the amenities. I was looking forward to heading down to the bar and enjoying some drinks with my husband before our other planned events. I find out at check-in that the bar is closed for renovations. While i was disappointed, i was still looking forward to the pool and hot tub on site. Newsflash, hot tub and pool were also closed. I wish this would have been advertised better prior to my stay. I can tell they are working hard to give the Radisson a facelift so kudos there. Staff was friendly otherwise, elevator was sketchy, but room was comfortable and mostly clean for my standards.

The room was not clean. They did not clean it after I stayed there the first night. The floors were not clean. One of the elevators was out of order. Had to walk all the way to the other side to go down. No amenities at all. They said the will email me a copy of the invoice, never got one!
