"Lovely character-full old property. Very comfortable beds and good facilities. Excellent staff. High quality chef-prepared food. Friendly people. Only small gripe is the ales were Shepherd Neame - I prefer a range of real ales. (Good pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord London Pride in the neighbouring pub though.) "

"Interesting place. Advertised as a guest house on some sites and Bed and Breakfast on others. Unfortunately when we arrived were told breakfast was not included - that seemed strange I booked the room on the pretence it served breakfast - being a "Guest House". I paid top price for this site when compared with other B & B's. Although they did end up supplying cereal for breakfast. But that is not good enough for the price. Also daily service was minimalist. Night before fly from city

"From the moment you walked through the door, reception staff were welcoming, our room was spotlessly clean, we had friends meet us for dinner at the hotel, food was amazing, Anwar (waiter) was tentative and offered advice, large comfortable beds, nothing too much trouble, we travel a lot and this is now our no1 hotel when we fly from London City Airport."
