"Cosy little house,very nicely renovated with wooden floors and a pleasant enclosed back garden. It has a homely feel to it and is in the quaint village of Alfriston in a fantastic area. Brilliant for walking with loads of local footpaths. The house is on a busy narrow road and parking is in a public car park 200m away. Fully equipped kitchen /diner and two good sized bedrooms and large bathroom. We had a really nice stay. "

"This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"A picture perfect cottage that is well appointed and very dog friendly. The cottage was in easy reach many of the towns on the coast, however we stayed because of its close location for a wedding and reception. "

"This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. "Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. "A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. "We mainly came to stay to go to 2 operas at Glyndebourne and catch up with friends. We loved the Old Dairy, comfortable and well equipped and ideal for the 4 of us. We loved our visits to Firle Place and to Farleys. We hope to return next year."

"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...
