"This cabin was just absolutely perfect! Cozy and quaint is a wonderful description. We ventured to DCL for a couple days of skiing and a few more days of complete relaxation for my birthday. The location was just right. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast pastries, a nice dinner out, a homey hearty breakfast, and ski rentals and slopes all within minutes. "We booked this cabin for a small girls weekend and it was perfect! The view is absolutely amazing! The fireplace is cozy, just make sure you bring lots of wood to keep it going! We also enjoyed using the hot tub each night! The house was clean and in order and communication with Mountain Mama’s was great. "

"Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings."

"This house has anything you’ll ever need. The owner was super responsive. There’s ample room for everyone. Super close to wisp. I bet if the backyard and deck wasn’t covered with snow it would have been beautiful "

"This place was perfect for us. Secluded and quiet area, great history, and great amenities. It’s definitely a historic cabin and may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who are taller than around 5’9”, or those with physical handicaps. For us it was perfect. The managers were great and communicated with us any time we asked questions. Highly recommend. "

"My favorite thing was everyone having their own bathrooms in their bedrooms. My second, was the woodpecker who lived right outside the house. With the big windows we were able to see him come and go."

"Great get away. Great home. Absolutely fit all of our needs. Loved that we didn’t have to bring sheets towels etc. great kitchen set up. We cooked lots had all we needed pots and pans and plates and fks. PERFECT communication with the owner for months now. Answered timely and described all I needed! Love the home. Rustic feel. Great long table for family dinners! TVs were fun too! Comfortable beds! So grateful for the time! "

"Some areas of the cabin are a bit dated, like the downstairs bathroom. But overall it is a very nice cabin, and we enjoyed our stay. Take bear safety seriously, we saw a bear near the cabin one morning. Lots of deer in the area too."
