Fantastic Stay at Embassy Suites by Hyatt! I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hyatt, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The spacious suites provided the perfect blend of comfort and functionality, making it feel like a home away from home. The complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options for everyone. I also appreciated the evening receptions, which were a great way to unwind after a long day. The property was spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Whether it was quick assistance at check-in or helpful recommendations for local attractions, their friendliness stood out. Thi was a great choice. My only complaints were that we didn’t have shampoo in the shower when we came. We called the front desk and had to call them probably 3 times before we could ever get any. My husband eventually just took some off a cart. Don’t like to do that but what are ya gonna do? Other than that the staff was good. They helped us get back our shoes that got left at the pool and they brought up extra pillows for the kids. I think the shampoo thing was just one of those little mistakes that somehow keeps getting lost in the mix for whatever reason. I would stay here again. My other complaint was just how crowded breakfast was. But that’s what you get in a large city like DC so it has nothing to do with the job they did. Just keep it in mind, you’ll wait a while in line for your omelet, but the food was really good.

Wonderful in every way - from room organization, to staff friendliness, to incredible location, and ease of access to downtown, Smithsonian’s, Planet Word Museum, and Himalayan restaurant close by. Morning made-to-order breakfast was hectic but well worth it, and evening cocktails were a fabulous plus! Very family-friendly (pool, gym, walk ability to museums, TVs in both rooms of suites, separate dining area (to avoid spillage!) and availability of cookware/flatware (ask for these at the front desk) and in-room refrigerator and microwave). CVS close by for essentials too. We had a very comfortable and all-around splendid time!

Not sure what was going on, but lots of fights during the night, slamming doors and screaming 3 nights in a row. The dishes in the self-service breakfast and happy hour sections were consistently dirty or soiled from the dishwasher. Linens were worn and in need of replacing. Good mattresses, very friendly and helpful staff.
