"We arrived early and the very friendly receptionist allowed us to check in. Our room was on level 5 facing the harbor, it was interesting watching the ships enter Newcastle Port. There is car parking under the building with an overflow outdoor section. Our only issue was a very small room fridge without a freezer. The bar staff gave us ice when we asked for it. All of the hotel staff were polite and professional. "

"Given that it was pouring rain & very windy for three-quarters of the time we stayed, the staff did very well to keep the hotel running as smoothly as they did. Thank to the cleaners & all the staff."

"We enjoyed our stay in the family suite with 5 people. Beds were soo comfy with 2 pillows each and bathroom was clean with fresh towels each day. Kids enjoyed the pool with towels available to use from the reception which was handy as our beach towels were wet. We enjoyed thos motel very much with a nice location and coffee van out the front. "

The thing that makes this place is the staff, every single staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly even going above what one would reasonably expect. "My daughter and I came through for an event, and we absolutely loved staying at Ibis Newcastle. Staff were super nice and everything from booking, check in and out was handled perfectly. We will definitely be back for another stay or two. "
