Stayed here a few times over the years. Service is good and rooms are comfortable. Quick walk for eating from KFC to top line dining. My preference is usually Wests Leagues for good value and proper drink prices.

Air conditioning in room 320 drips a lot of water. Had to turn it off. Phone doesn't work so couldn't call down to let you know. All in all not great is it? Still you get your money so who cares right?

Room was clean and tidy. Air temp control did not work, set at 19 deg and could not be changed. Property condition was poor and in need of major maintenance works. no easy access from car parking area into the property only access was via main entrance.

staff doesnt care to pick up the phone, calling to ask something nobody picking up the phone…. surprise when check in some staff is there…. bathroom is cracking noise like me trying to break glasses, but the bathroom is so small…. the rest is okay okay…. but with that price we can get somewhere more decent

Very well located to the trains .The whole Hotel NEEDS a massive thorough CLEANup of dirty walls and floors and smudges all over the Lift area . The fridge area in our room 301 was water damaged I'd say ages ago and is in a bad state . The Hotel needs a maintenance effort to lift the IBIS standard .

Budget friendly accommodation with great staff, close to the wonderful beaches and Nobbys lighthouse. Pizza hut and KFC next door if you need a quick feed. Woolies, maccas, big w are within walking distance. Great location to stay if exploring Newcastle.

Disgusting. Wouldn't recommend at all. Air conditioner filthy, bed uncomfortable, 2 pillows on bed, other pillows in cupboard, neede through out. All yellowing. Fridge not cleaned, covered in dust. Floor dirty. Bathroom, size of cruise ship bathroom. Charging fees for parking for guests. $25 a night. Avoid
