"Fantastic 2 bedroom cottage style home. You do share property with a home located next to cottage however this did not affect our stay at all. Cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. And at the end of the day we absolutely loved coming back for a soak in the outdoor spa. Communication with host was excellent. All made for a wonderful stay."

"An amazing location, modern space that even though was all open plan is incredibly spacious as well as having a cozy, snug feeling. wish we could have stayed longer. perfect for a couple. lovely touches with welcome chocolate :) "

"Rita’s cottage far exceeded expectations. Peaceful, spotless, well furnished with all the comforts of home. Set well back from the main road in a gated cluster of homes, it was the perfect location for seeing all the sights that the Rotorua has to offer. Beatrice is lovely to deal with, always prompt in responding. She was on site to welcome us with lovely gifts of homemade jelly, honey, soap, chocolates. We would 100% stay at Rita’s cottage again!"

"A beautiful presented little cottage, tucked away in a peaceful setting. We had such a lovely break away in a perfect location not too far away from the beautiful lakes and activities in Rotorua. "The place we rented was a 2 bedroom home. The unit was very clean and nice. The resort is on the lake and on a large piece of property. Beautiful scenery and sunsets. Restaurant on property was good. All the staff was friendly and helpful."

"This is an older property with not very personable staff, but our room was fine, with a nice view of the thermal springs out our window and right beside the Whakarewarewa Living Maori Village, which we enjoyed touring. The breakfast was exceptional."

"This elegant historical hotel was a great choice in Rotorua. We especially enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent dinner at Duke’s Restaurant, and the wonderful hot pools on site. With such great, private pools, you really don’t have to pay for others. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed walking the nearby beach boardwalk and gardens. Free parking is offered but can be a bit hard to secure during the day. But by evening, there was ample to choose from."

Comfy and accommodating spot!

"We stayed there one night. The new owners (2 months as of March 2025) are great! Really friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and included everything one could need: equipped kitchenette, iron, hair dryer, etc. They even had free washer for clothing. Would stay again!"
