"I stayed 3 nights, and never received room cleaning service. Apparently you have to request it. Shouldn't daily cleaning service be a given? Shower was good."

"Strange things happen at this hotel! Two of the three elevators did not work. Actually someone was shouting in one of those stuck elevators crying to be rescued. I requested to the guest services for a packaged to be dropped to my room. They informed me that other than security there is no one to drop that package to my room so I had to dress up and go down to pick it up. At 3-4 AM there were noises on the floor. Scattered stuff on the check-in counter."

"The staff at the front desk was very friendly for both check-in and check-out. The lobby area was particularly welcoming. My one complaint about my room is that it did not have a walk-in shower but rather a tub that you had to climb into. I didn't request a room with a walk-in shower because I thought they were pretty standard. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. Onsite parking was available, but spaces were limited. Hotel is very close to the metro for tourists who want to visit...

"The room was great. One thing is that the drain in the shower was draining snowly so you take take a shower you stand in a puddle a few inches deep."

Very nice hotel in a good location

"I wanted a hotel with a pool, and with breakfast included. The pool was a good size and temperature, and the hot tub was soothing after a long day of walking. Embassy Suites serves the best hotel breakfasts I have had, with made to order omelets, and a good selection of other items. The coffee is very good. The dining area is in a big, open atrium, which was a little chilly. The location was excellent in that I could get to a Metro Station and a Whole Foods via the underground parking garage. There are restaurants nearby, too. I left my car in the garage for four nights, which cost me $100. I took the Metro in to DC to do my sightseeing. "
