"I really liked this grand old hotel. It had a sophisticated charm and you could imagine yourself pulling up in a horse drawn carriage in the 1800s. The lobby had beautiful split staircases and a huge Incredible chandelier It was very near the west end shows and super convenient to transport and shopping and dining. "The location was excellent, with its close proximity to the Embankment Underground metro station (3 min. walk) and various tourist attractions. I found the staff to be both polite and friendly. "The Georgian House Hotel is a unique, boutique hotel located near Victoria Station. I stayed in the tiny room as a solo traveler & this room truly is tiny. However, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, & the shower hot. Tea and biscuits were replenished daily by housekeeping staff. Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, The London Eye, & St. James Gardens are all located within a short walking distance. I would recommend this hotel if one is seeking a nice, clean, economical room in a centralized London location."
