"This hotel and our room exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful and the location on Potrero Beach is amazing. We enjoyed the proximity to Playa Flamingo and Play Penca for evening swims and a more lively scene if wanted. "

"Beautiful grounds, loved that it was right in town and right on the beach. Parking was easy and although traffic makes driving slow it was much better to have a car than pay for shuttle. "

"Fourth visit to this resort, last time was 5 years ago. Excellent service & staff! Some managers remembered us from prior years, that really meant something! Still prefer the buffet to the restaurants. Reception staff kind and accommodating. Two negative things, one was the trash and glasses/plates left around the resort for days, and the trash on the beach, second thing was the lax attitude regarding (lack of) clothes at the dinning places and people smoking right outside of the entrances or vaping indoor (not in designated areas). An adult only option would be nice since children were running around and screaming constantly and hanging out in "adult" areas. Overall appreciate the CR people and beautiful surroundings. Pura Vida!"

The food service team and chef were also very accommodating when I had an early scuba dive meet up earlier than the normal breakfast start time. The late afternoon and evening entertainment was a lovely addition as well. And you can’t beat the location. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and great local soccer/football right outside the door. "
