"We loved everything about our stay at Coco Flotante. You want beach front? This is the place!You want a pool? This is the place?You want quiet but close to restaurants and activities? This is the place!There were 8 of us total, 4 adults and 4 kids (2 families toga travel together). Kids aged 8, 10, 11, and 12. Two master suites downstairs (both sets of parents stayed), one bedroom with a queen, and one bedroom with 2 twins (all 4 kids stayed upstairs). Another sitting area and bar upstairs as well.Outdoor seating area and the pool were our favorites. Large kitchen with everything you need to cook. We cooked most meals. We did eat out a few times. The property caretakers (house next door) were so nice. Never intrusive. We had a flat tire one day on our rental van, and they assisted us with finding the number to call to have someone come fix it. There dog came to visit us daily when we were outside, but never pestered us, and was super friendly. Only things to caution if traveling with older folks or young children, there are steep outside stairs to the upstairs of the house. And, there are steep stairs to the beach. Neither of those bothered us at all!As others have said, the pictures of this property online don’t do this place justice. It’s amazing! If you’re on the fence- make the choice to rent this place- you won’t regret it! "

Our group of 8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids had so much space to spread out in. The pool was great and the outdoor patio was equally wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again."

"The house lived up to the photos. Clean, comfortable, necessities provided. It's a bit out of the way, which we wanted. You will need a car. The road is a little rough, but many roads are in Costa Rica.Beautiful, quiet black sands beach that is considered one of the cleanest in the world."

"This is a great location to stay out of the craziness of Tamarindo. Beware aware that it is not a great swimming beach but we had an awesome stay here. Great for the whole family with amazing views."

"Enjoyed everything about this beautiful Villaesque lodging with its lush botanical walled grounds. Plenty of birds, hummingbirds everyday and other daily visits from a plethora of winged visitors to the pool's waterfall. Monkeys, a colorful squirrel and 2 cats passed through as well. The property is a brief walk along a shaded trail to the beach. "

"The pictures don't do this place justice. The condo is nicely appointed and the view from the living room and front porch are just gorgeous; we loved waking up to it each morning. Check in and out was super easy and the location at Junquillal is really charming. Wouldn't of hanged a thing!"
