"Very good for $ stay! Cute, clean rooms in a nice set up with a shared kitchen/lounge space. Neighbourhood was close to quite a few restaurants. We were provided with both bath and beach towels as well as earplugs (the windows are not soundproof from outside). My only suggestion would be for better pillows. Communication for check in/out was all by phone/email but instructions were clear and we had no issues. Would do a short term stay here again!"

"Large and airy room on second floor of an old building in the center of Old San Juan. Great (secure) location for walking the city. Refrigerator, microwave, and sink for minor cooking. Two very big doors open to small balconies overlooking the street. Quiet at night with the air condition on. Highly recommended for those who like quirky accommodations."

"The property is great for the price especially in comparison to ones 15-20 minutes down the road. The lady Anna at the front desk is super amazing! So friendly and helpful! There are several options for great authentic Puerto Rican food super close and even a shopping mall and several other food options about 15 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again. "

"What a great place!! In the middle of a neighborhood. Doesnt look that appealing but when you go inside the locked gate at Casa Toñita, it's a completely different world! Everything was so vlean and orderly. The pool sparkled the whole week were there. The only thing we didn't care for was it doesn't get very dark in the room at night. There is no blanket on the bed. We had to buy one. And thr neighborhood roosters will start waking you around 130 am... "

"Such a great stay for 2 nights! Location is in the heart of bars, restaurants and within walking distance to all the historical sights. The room is small but in a very cool open air building. Bathroom is not attached but is right across the room and used the same room key - which was no problem for us! The bathroom was very big! We loved our stay and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice place to stay if you'll be out and about exploring the majority of the day! "

"We had a wonderful stay and great time in Old San Juan. The house was well equipped with all amenities (but bring your own laundry soap!) and very clean. The fresh smell was very welcoming. It was warm outside so the AC was great and a must have. Loved how the shutter doors/windows opened to the street. It was a very lively neighborhood with noise well into the night.. this did not bother us in the primary sweet and our daughter slept with ear plugs and slept great. Lots of space and storage...

"We had such an amazing time at Villa Azure! Our group of 16 couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous ocean views, and the fact that the beach was just a short walk away was perfect. The house itself was super cozy and beautifully decorated—plenty of space for everyone but still felt like home. We spent hours relaxing by the pool and enjoying the outdoor area, which was perfect for hanging out together. We can’t wait to come back!"

"I would like to start by saying that the hosts are absolute gems. From prior to arriving, they gave suggestions, support and made us feel comfortable before getting there. That was a first and a blessing. Secondly, the property is just beautiful, immaculate, spacious with the privacy needed. The rooms are each special in their own way and to be honest, there was this super relaxed feeling most of us felt because of the ambiance. "My room was very clean and the fact it was on the beach was a huge perk! My room did not have hot water. I advised the front desk. They said they would take care of it but when I went back after a day at the beach, the water was still cold. The hallways are dark and creepy. Other than those two things, it wasnt that bad of a stay. "

"We really liked the location and were super excited to stay in Old San Juan for a few days but had no idea about “the stairs”. We had just come off of a 7 day cruise and had planned to stay but once we arrived, we saw “the stairs” and almost passed out. We have 4 pieces of luggage and there’s no elevator. Our room was on the top floor. We spoke to Omar (the manager) and decided we wouldn’t be able to stay. He was more than gracious and even refunded us our money for the 2 days we canceled. ...
