"A warm welcome on arrival. Lovely room in a separate building to the main one. Nice gardens and view from the room. Access to the spa included, but the pool was out of use both days. Charged extra by accident when checking out, but recitifed when phoned."

"Star Lodge is a little way out of the centre of Utrecht but is conveniently located close to a bus line which takes you into the centre in a few minutes. The rooms are relatively basic but are large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful, although they did forget to tell us about the honesty bar until we were about to leave. "I was only there for one night. A lovely hotel. I just wish I had, had the time to try the facilities. My only issue was the marshmallow pillows. Even with 2 they were far too soft. I resorted to using the cushions, supplied."
