"If peace and serenity are what you are looking for, Barefoot Cay Resort is ideal. As a boutique resort with a limited number of accommodations you can easily avoid the crowds. Although there were a few other guests, my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting on the beach and snorkeling off the pavilion with no distractions. Relaxing on the pavilion, feeling the breeze and listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks after snorkeling was so relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. "

"My only hesitation in leaving an excellent review is that it will cause the property to become too popular and I may have difficulty going there again. The manager, Dave, lives just across the street and ensures your state is great from start to finish. Even little touches like lending me baking powder and getting me some green coconuts from the neighbors. The house in setting is even better than the pictures and there's beautiful snorkeling right from your back doorstep. The layout of the house was perfect for us because the adults were upstairs in the master suite and our kids had their own quarters and bedrooms downstairs. Should probably be noted that if you had several adult couples traveling together rather than a family with children, the upstairs bedroom is much more desirable than downstairs, but the downstairs was still clean and roomy, had two bathrooms, and the kids absolutely loved it. We really could not have been much happier with our accommodations and stay and hope to go again in the future."

"Lets start off the house is on a main road very close to the airport so you have car traffic airplanes flying over now the house is on the second floor of a Diving Business soo people are walking around the property there is a front gate that stays open during business hours 8am till about 5pm so if you have kids you want to be mindful that if left unattended they can wonder in the street. The house easy fits ample amount of people lots of doors not as clean as you would hope there is a microwave oven and a electric stove outdated washer and dryer theres some tricks to getting it to work"
