"Son una ESTAFA , cuando llegamos al lugar supuestamente ellos ya no eran los dueños y no eran los dueños , pero lo más que hablamos con ellos nos dimos cuenta que si lo eran y que estaban encargados de la propiedad y que solo decidieron darle a nuestra habitación a otras personas . Si no fue que expedía nos da la opción de pagar en el lugar hubiéramos pagado dos veces . Tenga cuidado antes de hacer una reservación con este lugar en específico."

"Casona La Recoleta is a wonderful place to stay at Cusco. My spouse became ill from the altitude sickness upon arrival. The staff immediate tested her blood oxygen level and offered an emergency oxygen tank to relieve her symptoms. My spouse kept on and off the oxygen without success of bringing her blood oxygen level up on her own. We ran out of the oxygen in the middle of the night, and the 24-hr onsite staff helped with another tank while I was trying to book a flight to get us down to Lima...

"Room was very tastefully set up with local decor. There was attention to detail. Setting was very relaxing, with an internal lounge and a garden. We had a nice pizza for dinner. Breakfast was abundant and tasty: eggs, cereal, warm home made bread, papaya juice, etc. Service was very kind and speedy. Overall, very much above Peruvian standard (within this price range)"

"The place is close to the center. That is a nice thing. San Pedro Market is just around the corner. The staff was friendly but did not speak a lot of english and when we had to check out we where charged with 5% extra because of a credit card service charge. Not cool when you are out of cash because you are heading out of the country. "
