"Everything about El Albergue is incredible. Beautiful rooms and outdoor sitting areas, comfy bed, wonderful service. The entire property is spectacular with gardens, a distillery and coffee roasting. The morning breakfast was perfect before a day of exploring Ollantaytambo. The close proximity to the train station was also a plus! Oh and the restaurant and Cafe Mayu...So good! I hope I can return one day as I just loved the warmth of this hotel as well as the town of Ollantaytambo. "

"Room was very tastefully set up with local decor. There was attention to detail. Setting was very relaxing, with an internal lounge and a garden. We had a nice pizza for dinner. Breakfast was abundant and tasty: eggs, cereal, warm home made bread, papaya juice, etc. Service was very kind and speedy. Overall, very much above Peruvian standard (within this price range)"

"We loved staying here! The family were lovely and accommodating. They took through the wilderness in their back yard and beyond which was super cool. The rooms were comfortable and we especially loved our patio overlooking the town and endless festivals (do they ever end?!?!). There wasn't hot water, but that is what we expected for this price. I would recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Natalia took good care of us and we were able to communicate well despite our limited Spanish. There was good wifi, lots of blankets, a nice view of the street and the ruins from the balcony and the breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"I booked and had a confirmation number. Drove for hours to get there. The road was blocked so we eight had to turn around and try another way. When the host EVENTUALLY answered, he said he had no booking! He said Expedia never communicated with him. We had to go from door to door to find somewhere that could take 8 people. Had to use one hotel for half the time and another for the rest of the time. "
