"The location of this property was gorgeous, truly being a luxury aparthotel. It was stunning being surrounded by the Andes mountains. With that said, this location is great if you have a car, otherwise an Uber into Urubamba is not possible. They can call you a taxi, but ensure that you have Soles on hand! We were looking forward to dinner at the restaurant but were told the chef got into an accident. They ordered us a pizza instead of having to go into town. "

"Property was a bit out the way but the grounds were beautiful. Landacape and flowers were so pretty with the mountains in the background. 3 Alpacas/Llamas on site... wish they were more friendly but still made for great pictures. Wish there was more on site to do. We did walk out and up to the left found a Butterfly museum. It was nice to learn about Mariposas. Room was big with high celings. Wich made for a very cold night. Room did have a space heater, but needed 2 to fill the space. ...

"We stayed at Spirit of the Lodge and liked its beautiful location. Surrounded by nature and right by the river. The staff were friendly and happy to help, which we appreciated throughout our stay. That said, there were a few aspects that fell short of expectations, especially given the premium price. Fishing was a key reason we chose this lodge, as we were told before booking that the river was great for it. However, the rainy season made fishing almost impossible, and this wasn’t communicated...
