"The hotel is absolutely lovely. The staff are all very kind and helpful. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious with many different offerings. Our room has enough space to sleep 4 and the en suite is just perfect. Waking up to the sun rising over the cliffs outside our window just sets you up for a fabulous day. Highly recommend!!"

"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"
