"We had a fantastic long weekend on the Graythwaite estate. The property was immaculate and well equipped, with plenty of space for a large group and comfortable beds. If you like the Lakes and the activities it has to offer then this is a great place to stay. I would have given 5 stars but for the heating, which uses storage heaters and the property was cold in the evening, particularly on the first night. Also be wary of the fan/light over the hob which was very easy to bang your head on."

"Lovely property if somewhat dated fixtures and fittings, but they added a certain character. The single bedroom had no plug sockets - this needs to be rectified. The TV remote didn't work. Lovely host. Amazing garden."

"House was very spacious, view was incredible and we had off road parking. Unfortunately the house wasnt cleaned to a high standard, we were faced with dust, cobwebs and the last guests rubbish! The contact numbers left in the house were of two ladies who no longer look after the property! No wifi code! We also found bug faeces on a bed pillow. Hair and bugs in the bath! "What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. "
