"The property was very clean, warm and comfortable. The top bedroom, which was in the attic was well appointed but our group felt it might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I was able to contact the owners easily and they responded to my requests for extra crockery promptly. "What an amazing property! We could not have been more impressed. Just gorgeous. Very, very happy with my experience with friends on my 50th, it was just wonderful. Our host was really helpful and helped on follow up queries. Can get a bit colder in the night for those staying up late, but on balance I could not be more happier about my stay. "Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

"We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!"
