Wonderful stay in such an accessible place to explore Windermere and Coniston. The property is lovely, with such attention to detail and a friendly warm welcome. Frank does a beautiful spread for breakfast...we highly recommend it!

Me and my partner had a lovely stay, it was a lovely room, pristine clean, plenty of towels, fan & heater which was brilliant. I have no complaints and frank was lovely, very accommodating. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Also very good location and parking.

The hostess was very attentive and the room was comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was beautifully presented and the location to walking paths was perfect for us. We will be sure to recommend to others and book there again ourselves.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at this guest house and would recommend it. Very good location near to Windermere, avoiding the crowds. It was so handy having parking, as lots of accommodation in the area can’t provide it. We had the continental breakfast option, great value and quality - gorgeous coffee! The bedding and sheets were high quality and we slept so well. Always plenty of hot water and I loved the scent of the toiletries. The gardens were pretty and we met Frank, the host, who was very nice.

Highly recommended, lovely stay
A thoroughly pleasant stay at a lovely guest house. From arrival I was met by the owner who was pleasant, friendly and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed was also nice and comfy too. I undertook 'The Lap' 47 mile ultra marathon, so when I came back to the room, I really needed a nice bed and this one was lovely. It was easy to enter and leave the property with your own key etc. Upon checking out the owner made sure everything was satisfactory and had a chat about the run too. All in all a very pleasant stay and I am doing The Lap again next year and will look to book here again. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely stay.
