"Absolute amazing stay "

"The property was lovely, a little dated, the staff were lovely,beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, evening meal first night was really nice, the 2nd night wasn't as good, was told it was a different chef Sunday. The spa was very nice, used the sauna and steam room, the Jacuzzi and the pool. In fact the spa was really Christmasy but the hotel was rather poor with the Christmas decorations, overall I would definitely stay again."

"What an amazing place. Unassuming from the outside, apart from being the oldest building in Ulverston. It is wonderful and cosy, inside with modern sympathetic decoration. A warm welcome, very clear guidance for what was available and how to enter and exit. Breakfast was fantastic too. A great find, we will be back !! O"

"Lovely log cabin, very festive with xmas tree and outdoor lights. Great welcome pack with bottle of mulled wine, mince pies, milk and tea and coffee. Will definitely be booking once again."
