We love the private onsen and yukata as well The staff here were super helpful and wanted us to have a nice stay. Most of them can help in basic English, but there were a few who you have to take out the translator for which was not a big issue"

"全体的に良かった。特にキッチン周りの充実(ホームベーカリーやバリスタ、冷蔵庫のデカさ、食器の清潔さ、などなど)や本格的なバレルサウナ、家具などは満足。一方、チェックイン16時からなので、1泊2日の場合初日は十分にサウナを満喫できず、15時だと嬉しいところ。チェックアウトが11時なので翌日に楽しめたが、できれば時間を気にせず初日に楽しみたい。"

"This is by far the most beautiful and relaxing hotel we stayed at while in Japan. Highly recommend this experience. The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s stunning and so well kept. The Hot Pot, Shabu Shabu dinner was also the best meal we had during our entire trip!"

"We are so happy to have stayed here during our trip to Japan. Our room had traditional Japanese style qualities and the private onsen was amazing. We had a beautiful view of the lake, everything was clean, wonderful service, and delicious fresh food all included in our stay. It was a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. We hope to stay here again!"

"We really liked the experience we received here! It is tucked away in the far parts of Kyoto, so I would recommend going here if you’d like to experience a disconnect from the hustle of tourist activities while still experiencing Japanese culture. The staff were incredible friendly, facilities and rooms were very clean!"
