"This hotel and the women who worked at the front desk were amazing! The room was absolutely enormous and so cozy and clean. I spent the morning doing a beach cleanup in absolutely horrid weather… Strong wind, rain, and freezing cold. When I got to the hotel, I took a hot bath and the tub was so deep and it was just perfect! I was able to unwind to the fullest before heading back out for the evening. It is also pet friendly and they offered me a dog bed at check in! I didn’t need one but it was a nice perk. I do suggest that if you’re sensitive to sounds, bring ear plugs. The sea lions will sing you a song in the morning. That being said, they do make a point of letting you know that sound travels easily and to be considerate of neighbours / quiet time. Although the room next to me had a family and two dogs, and I didn’t hear them much at all! The hotel is within walking distance from quite a few local businesses and has nice views from the balcony. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Ukee."

"Great property and price for the location. The rooms include everything you’d need to “live” for your stay. There’s a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, etc and a laundromat close by. I would happily stay here again next time I am in the area. The motel is right by the marina and within walking distance to the shops in Ucluelet. I observed motel staff painting the motel while I was there so it is clear that the management cares a lot about the upkeep of the building. Book early as they fill up fast. "
