Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Found this hidden gem whilst looking for a cabin with a hot tub for a recent trip away. Booking was really easy and couldn’t fault the communication either Upon arrival, the pod itself was beautiful and was extremely secluded with lots of privacy. It was just perfect for a few days away from the hustle and bustle Louise was so friendly, welcoming, extremely accommodating and was on hand to help with anything we needed which was greatly appreciated. "Our stay at Plas Y Ward Log Cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. The location was spot-on, close to all amenities, yet felt beautifully secluded and peaceful. From the moment we arrived, Liza and her husband were there at a moment's notice whenever we needed them, and nothing was ever too much trouble – they made us feel so welcome! The cabin itself was incredibly cosy, with all the comforts we could have asked for. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars each evening...

"Booked this fairly last minute for a bit of peace and quiet and good views and it did not disappoint! Place was spotless with everything you could need. Beautifully situated to give amazing views while also giving you quiet. Love my neighbours entertaining me - the wonderful animals on the property 😃 will definitely be back again ❤️"

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). "The location, views and the feel of the place was great. The property was very quiet so you can enjoy the nature setting. Everything was clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!"

"This place hasn't been look after at all for years!When we arrived could only see massive stinging nettles and dumping area. The yurt was dirty, smelled of damp and mould. The towels were not provided as per webside offer and beds were uncomfortable and bedding didn't smell fresh at all. The lightning didn't work on a patio either. "Lovely little cabin in the owners grounds, right next to the river. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then it’s perfect, Oswestry is only 15 minutes drive away. Cabin has everything we needed for the 2 nights we stayed. Very easy self check in/out good communication with the owners."
