"This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"

The staff even helped to sort out our luggage delivery to the next accommodation in another city. Our hostess Matsuri was sweet, polite and gracious. "The hotel is in a beautiful location but if you want to go into town it’s a very long walk. Hotel offers shuttle service but limited schedule to return. Very few taxis available. The staff is very helpful to accommodate you but you must plan in advance. The onsen in the hotel is very nice with stunning ocean views."
