Kawaguchiya Kinosaki Riverside Hotel

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (114)
"We had such a great stay at this property! It was an easy walk from the train station, and to the main streets as well. Staff was so kind and informative. They provided us with yukatas that kept us very warm while walking around. Staying here also gave us a pass to all the onsens! We also opted for the breakfast option, and it was a beautiful, traditional spread. Loved this hotel and area - what a great experience!"

Onishiya Suishoen

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (154)
"Wonderful experience staying at this ryokan, and definitely the highlight of our trip to Japan. From the moment they greeted us at check-in to the farewell at checkout, they took such good care of my family and me. Room was amazing, stay was comfortable, Kaiseki breakfasts and dinners were such a treat, and the shuttle system to the 6 onsen around town was very convenient. Also, several of the staff spoke English, which helped a ton. "

Tsukimotoya Ryokan

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (259)
"Tsukimotoya Ryokan provided a memorable and authentic ryokan experience for our family. Only a few minutes from the main onsen baths (yanagiyu, ichinoyu, goshonoyu, konouyu and jizoyu). The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner were amazing and so delicious. The warm hospitality provided to us felt like we were staying with family instead of at a public ryokan. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended. "
