"Rooms shabby in parts. Bathroom very dated. We were celebrating an anniversary and special birthday but all we had was writing on a mirror. This was a disappointment. I also thought I left my watch in the room after checkout. I called to find out. Never heard back from them. They could have at least phoned to say they hadn’t located it. Breakfast felt rushed and was buffet whereas before it was al la carte. Don’t feel it’s 5 stars. It so could be with more attention to detail "

"We had a lovely 3 night stay. Our room was a wow to look at but not overly practical. The bathroom could do with a shelf to put our toiletries on. (instead we had to use the top of the loo) A light fitting above the large mirror was present but we couldn't see how it worked. If at all. A good powerful hairdryer, but the plug socket was too far away to sit at the dressing table. The room was clean, but attention to details were a little lacking.
