"I had a comfy bed. Heating was easily controlled. Very basic accommodation but had good tea/ coffee facilities. Very small shower but adequate. Seemed to be a lovely popular pub in a lovely area and a footpath were you could go for a walk but I wasnt there long enough to enjoy any of these things. There is some frequent noise from planes going to Gatwick but I took my earplugs. " We were visiting family for a birthday and wanted a room nearby for the night. The hotel staff were very nice and the room (a four poster) was lovely, warm and cosy. The restaurant side does great food with very good service and breakfast was great. I know the Camden Arms well but have never stayed there before. I have stayed in other hotels nearby but the Camden is very much better. We were happy with the price as well and totally recommend here for anyone viting the area."

"I found the staff very welcoming. The room was in very good condition, although I could hear when people in the next room were moving around. I slept well. Tea and coffee facilities were good. View of the TV from the bed isn’t great. Bedside lights not controlled by main switch. Good shower. Good toiletries. Food was excellent."

"I stayed in one the cottages and it was super; clean, cosy & warm and designed to a high standard. The private garden a great addition. The restaurant and food is good quality and I thought priced reasonably. Chilham is a pretty village and the White Horse Inn is also super for a drink with the locals. Canterbury is a short drive, or train journey so a great place if you want to visit the city but be in the country. I loved it. "
