"Great place to stay. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was really powerful and could be adjusted to however hot you preferred. Food in the pub was excellent too. I've just booked to go again in a couple of weeks :-)"

"Such a beautiful pub with comfortable rooms. Staff were ever so welcoming and the room was spacious and clean. Was very surprised with my stay there even though it was just for one night. The breakfast was amazing too, cooked to order! "

"A lovely countryside stay. The pub is beautiful, a great mix of an old pub with modern design. Everything feels lovely and clean. Huge beds! I would say though, we stayed on a Sunday and the road out the front on the Monday morning was quite noisy (rush hour, bin men and gas refill right outside the window of our room). I doubt the rooms were full with it being a Sunday, so it would have been good if they put us out the back. If you can, request a room at the back of the building! "

"Very nice pub/hotel, nice log fire, lovely room’s, and big big old fashioned bath tub in the room, large bed, only drawback no television in the room.very limited lunch items available, the same with the evening menu, very small presented and very expensive steak meal,breakfast was tasty but very strange to have no marmalade offered or a refil of tea/coffee and the full english was very small. Staff were very nice"

"Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. "Lovely characterful pub with rooms. Lots of history and great atmosphere. Not very eco to have lots of little disposable toiletries and whilst the breakfast in the basket was a good idea, some of the products could have been more imaginative. How about a local yoghurt and cereal rather than an industrial toffee youghurt and Kellog’s variety cereals? "

"The cottage was brimming with character, featuring exposed beams, original stone walls, and vintage decor, the cozy fireplace was the perfect touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.The host was exceptionally welcoming. Location was perfect as well! Highly recommend!"
