"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "I have no concerns with the property it's a very pleasant place to stay with an awesome view of the ocean. "We came for my fiancés birthday and stayed 2 1/2 days. We spoke with the property manager right before our arrival. She was super helpful and courteous. When we came in the home we found it just perfect for the four of us. It was super clean and comfy. We strolled down to the beach several times throughout our stay, and With the hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean it was a perfect relaxing little Birthday get away. The sunsets were the icing on the cake!"
