"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "Cherry's house is so comfy and welcoming, and has such a great view of the ocean. We didn't even mind that the weather wasn't so great, we were more than happy to spend lots of time in the house. Lovely artwork everywhere you look, comfy beds, lots of kitchen equipment, the best location. PLUS handmade chocolates to welcome you! We had a lovely time and really look forward to staying here again. "
