"The Highland Dell was an enjoyable stay for us. Our room, 102, was interesting. There was no thermometer setting available but I assume it was because it was certified as Green and all rooms were monitored as a whole. Room was relatively small but very clean. No closet, bathroom consisted of a toilet and shower. Sink, mirror, hairdryer were in bedroom area. Walking from the bed to the bathroom was literally down hill. Floor not level but not an insurmountable problem, just interesting. Dinner...

"We were expecting a “hotel” but like everywhere else in the area it is actually sets of separate little bungalows for loss of a better word. Small, but cozy and clean. We had a very pleasant stay. At first we were a little taken aback that there was no tv as we both make our living doing the news, but we had excellent Wi-Fi and still managed to keep up with our station. "Mike and Debbie are fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and our room was quite comfy. We took advantage of the hot tub. Perfect after a long day of hiking. There's also a sauna but we ran out of time. Maybe next time. We'll definitely be back!"
