"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "My daughter and I were in town for her birthday and to visit UTC. We enjoyed the sights - Aquarium, Rock City, UTC, Naughty Cat Cafe. The room was quaint, clean, and cool. The front desk was super friendly and efficient. We ended napping in the afternoon, but did not actually stay the night due to my daughter feeling ill and wanting to go home. Recommend if you're on a budget."
