Amazing hotel! Beautiful, old hotel with modern touches and amenities. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great bar and pool table area and while we didn’t use the pool, it looked awesome. Loved the historic items that have been left. The only thing I was mildly disappointed by were the bed sheets. They felt very worn and “pilly”. Bed overall was clean and comfortable, though. And towels were wonderful. Robes and slippers would be a nice touch as the bathroom was chilly. Would absolutely stay again!

It was only .7 miles walk to the aquarium and riverfront. The hotel is historic and welcoming. The renovation has made this iconic hotel absolutely stunning. Staff were great. Food and service were top notch.

If you’re looking for a great hotel to stay in while visiting Chattanooga, the Read House is it. The room was perfect, bathroom 1st class, and ambiance was next level. Loved the overall 30’s-40’s feel. If there was a down side it was parking, but not down enough to impact the visit or rating.

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are great, the staff is great, the restaurants and bars are great, and the area is very convenient if you are staying for events around downtown Chattanooga.

Impressive historic hotel at a very convenient location. We only stayed one night but we wish we had stayed longer. Everything was prefect. Staff were all very friendly and professional; the hotel building was so beautiful and charming, and the room was exceptionally clean. I would give it 10 stars :)
