"I never have big budgets for trips so wanted somewhere convenient and comfortable for taking my lad to a gig at the Academy. Found ok although wasn't obvious as we approached, and given details by the bar in the reception bar area. We were five or so floors up in the converted loft space and the lift was out of order, just opening and shutting on one of the other floors. "Excellent location for the centre of Bristol. We were easily able to walk (on a sunny day) from the train station. Lots of independent shops and cafes around the hotel. Staff were welcoming upon arrival. Room was large and clean. Bathroom modern and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely book again if needed."
