"No room keys. Not good for more than sleeping. Tried to stay 2 nights during busy Kyoto travel season. It was a mess to talk through with the staff. Window was broken and the rooms were stuffy. Cleanliness was only okay the bed was big but there was stain on sheets, if we wanted room cleaning in between days we needed to check out of the hotel, the shower had a lot of mold. Nice amenities. Far from station."

"ホテルの顔である玄関の自動ドアの電源が切れてて、手動を強要してる。 Wifiが使えるか聞いたら、ロビー近くしか使えないといわれた。にも拘わらず部屋にランケーブルも無ければ、言わないと貸してくれない。大荷物持ってるのに階段でどうぞ！と言われた。（エレベーターもあるのに） 部屋の鍵が解りにくいのに説明なし。（鍵を回しながらドアを押さないと開かない）ホテルの門限23時。 歴史的には有名な地である点と川の中州に建てられたホテルなので景色は良いけど、何もなくて不便だった… フロントも居たり居なかったり、呼び鈴を押すタイプ。 愛想は悪くなかったけど、シルバー人材センターのアルバイトって感じだった。 掃除はよくされてたけど、施設は古く快適とはいいがたかった… 眺望は良かったけど、リピートはしないな。"

"You will not find a more picturesque location in Gion. In fact, I suspect that directly out the front door might be one of the most photographed streets in all of Kyoto. As we would go out for the day there were always people having professional photos as well as doing amateur photography directly out our door. "This was a spacious, comfortable and unique property in a good location. It was immaculately clean. There is a Lawson store next door and a number of good restaurants nearby. It is in walking distance to the Heian Shrine and Nanzenji Temple. Bus stops are just outside and subway stations are very close. The hotel is on a busy street, but the room is well insulated and very quiet. It has a washing machine that is supposed to also function as a dryer, but we didn’t have much luck with the dryer...
