"Very responsive host for a lovely apartment quite suited for our extended family of 8. We were able to drop off our luggage early. Very clean and well appointed. Our kids used the pullout sofas with extra bedding. Lovely bathrooms. The location is quiet, safe, and an easy 10 min walk to the Old Street underground. We had everything we needed, just needed some coaching with the water heater (which runs the radiators in the rooms), the fuse box and the dryer. There is a clothes drying rack (not an actual dryer machine) but a full load of laundry was dry the next morning. "Travel connections to everywhere were convenient from this part of Croydon with tons of options for day to day needs like restaurants and groceries. Note that while it's great to be near so much pedestrian-only shopping and a market atmosphere it does mean your taxi cannot come to the door. You do need to be prepared to move your luggage manually about 80 metres to/from a vehicle.
