"Great location, comfortable bed. It is cramped, but it’s a hostel after all. I’d stay again if I return to Tokyo. I needed assistance checking in and was not able to reach a staff member at the phone number provided. Fortunately one of the travelers in our group figured out a solution. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service."

"It felt like a home away from home. Located in a charming small town area minutes from bustling Ikebukuro by train, you can get a glimpse of daily life in residential Tokyo. I stayed in the bunk bed room on the upper floor. It was a comfy bed and it never got uncomfortable, though I wasn't sure whether the light in the room is supposed to be left on or not. "Nice and tidy. A bit distant from the center but located in a safe and quite area which I have no issues with. Host is very friendly and speaks perfect English! The butter toasts for breakfast are really crispy and fluffy, which is a great surprise."
