"Set in isolated rural village with lovely views and walks. Our vist was marred by horrendous wet weather, but we made the best of it. Mark and Madeline were lovely people who made us welcome and dealt with any issues and gave advice about the area."

Ramblers is an ideal base for couples looking to stay

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet and clean place to stay in the heart of the Dorset countryside with plenty of room, set up for walkers yet perfect for others, this is the place. We loved the easy access to a variety of places to visit and eat, the copious hot water, streaming tv ( so we could introduce my sister and husband to our favourite shows), our friendly hosts, some home cooked meals and the babbling brook at the end of the garden."

"Inside everything was fine (if quite small), milk left in the fridge and heaters turned on so it was warm when we arrived. Shower only (as the listing shows) but was nice and hot. Only real issue I had with the stay was parking and trying to get out onto the A road - there are mirrors to try and help inching out onto the main road (blind bend) but depending on the weather they can be useless."
