Traditional Inn with good pub food
Simple but comfortable accommodation, helpful and friendly host, good quality unpretentious pub grub. Good breakfast included in the price.

The Inn dates back to the 1600's, the owner who's been there about 22 years was lovely and his food was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy although the bathroom was a little jaded but it suited us perfectly and we would go back

Lovely 500 year old pub!
Three night stay to visit relatives. Easy check in with Geoff our genial and knowledgable host who showed us to our comfortable room. A good level of cleanliness given the age and construction of the building.

Lovely old coaching inn. Room comfortable, a little tired in places but clean, was suitable for a base to visit the surrounding area. Geoff seems to be everywhere ( he's a workhorse and a lovely host)

I had a very comfortable stay & was given a free room upgrade. The service was excellent. I had an evening meal at the Inn, which was tasty, well-cooked & reasonably priced. Overall, a positive experience & great value for money. I would happily stay again.
