"Came down to Wimborne for a family funeral - we had the wake in the hotel. Everyone was looked after extremely well - all the staff were great. We stopped in the hotel overnight - room was clean, bright and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty to eat"

"We were celebrating our Ruby anniversary. The hotel was lovely and we were greeted warmly. The room was spot on and we opted for one with a sea view. The room was large with a very comfy bed. The bathroom had a very big shower which was nice. The towels were lovely and soft. The food was excellent. We had a meal in the conservatory in the evening. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. We would stay there again."

"The Inn dates back to the 1600's, the owner who's been there about 22 years was lovely and his food was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy although the bathroom was a little jaded but it suited us perfectly and we would go back "

A strong 9/10 because although you should never judge a book by the cover, this hotel lets it self down with it's exterior presentation"

"The place is unique in my opinion because of a personal touch, attention to details and amazing people working there. I stayed twice in The Spice Ship with my partner, while we're working in the area. There is also a restaurant with very good food. I don't want to stay anywhere else now. "
