"We went away with our grandson for two nights. Our family room was fantastic!! Very roomy, great bathroom with bath and a shower and a balcony. We also took our dog and he was allowed to go in all areas. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Swimming pool was really nice, the hotel has spent some money in refurbishing certain areas. "

"We booked last minute as an impromptu trip and were very well accommodated from start to finish, staff were all amazing and the entertainment for our 2 nights was wonderful, our room was very clean and the facilities were good, we booked a swimming spot and the pool though not very big was good and the water was warm, we even had a good win on the bingo so great all round, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Paignton I can’t recommend enough, will definitely be back "

"Fabulous adults only property with stunning spa facilities. Excellent food, reasonable bar prices and friendly staff. We did ask to move rooms and (loud dripping from drainpipes just outside the room which was very annoying given the pouring rain) this was accommodated immediately. Nice to park in the hotel grounds, but £15 per day is a little excessive, although appreciate it is secure and monitored. Heated towel rail in the bathroom is way too small to accommodate bath towels and spa towel, especially if the spa towel isn’t changed. However, we would go back and definitely make use of the wonderful spa facilities. "

"It was great, we were very happy with the room. However I had a bit of a ladys emergency during our stay. I checked all the rest rooms to see if you had a machine to buy sanitary products, there were none available. I plucked up the courage to ask the lady on reception, she explained that they had sanitary products in the establishment, but they were for staff only, I was pretty desperate by this point and being a women herself I thought she would have understood how desperate I was. This meant that I had to get my children out of the pool to go and find a shop to get myself some sanitary products. This didn’t really effect our stay, but I would have rather her of lied and said they didn’t have any, it was very unhelpful to my situation if I’m honest. "

"Cosy Double room was clean though not totally spotless. Comfy bed. Great sea view. Reasonable price, comparable to smaller hotels. Good health spa with saunas, indoor pool (outdoor pool was closed), a good steam room, and a small spa pool - the spa pool could do with updating to contemporary style. Reasonably priced hotel bar, slightly cheaper than the local bars. A major highlight of the room was the complimentary real coffee, teas and two bottles of fresh mineral water, renewed every day. Nice bath, good mattress. The outside of the hotel was slightly grubby although the gardens were well kept. Parking was expensive at a GBP 10/day surcharge, and we had trouble getting Reception to lift the barrier on departure, probably because they were busy. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot, it felt like a mostly luxurious holiday at a very reasonable price. Final note - be sure to get the rear garden door combination from Reception before going out!"

"Booked a single night. All the staff at the beach Club were very willing and friendly. The condition of our room was excellent. The bed exceptionally comfortable. Excellent shower. We used the spa facilities, which were not very busy except for the family swim period between 4 and 6pm (but it was during school, holidays). We would recommend the included continental breakfast. There was lots of choice and quality of the food was excellent."
