We had unfortunately a very noisy couple in the room adjoining ours, we only managed to get about five hours sleep over two nights, even though we reported them to reception, apparently they had trouble with them before, so why let them stay a second time, it completely ruined our stay at the hotel, which was a shame as the rest of the hotel was good.

A very well located hotel to the beach and train station. A nice little clean swimming pool with great availability. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The evening entertainment was fun. All in all, especially considering the relative price for the location, there's a lot going on for what appears a modest hotel.

A very pleasant surprise
A one night stay on a wet and windy weekend in January. After booking, the hotel phoned to say that they were actually closed that night but they could give us the same price at their other hotel, The Palace. All we were looking for was a room for the night; we really didn't expect it to be such a stunning room with a prime view. We would have been very happy with anything, but this was really superb. Whilst this review can't really tell you about the Queen's Hotel, it tells you a lot about the high standard of service and customer care that they give.

Freindly staff, great family room, amazing pool. Hotel a few minutes walk to Paignton with plenty of shops, restaurants, beach, amusement arcades, cinema and in summer holidays circus and fair by the beach area.
