"Room was quite tight for a family as we needed a travel cot for our 14month old. He couldn't share the double sofa bed. Also I think it was just about overpriced at the bar. £10 for a large wine...and not even a very special one was abit excessive."

Enough kitchen space to make and serve our evening buffet and make breakfast.The turrets where we slept were beautiful and the castle grounds are breathtaking.Red inn pub is 2 minutes walk away and serves very reasonably priced food which is delicious.Would highly recommend this magical castle for a truly unique experience."

"Tbh it wasn't that bad for the stay me and my boyfriend had. We went to alton towers when we stayed over and we didn't want to spend like £600+ on hotels inside the park. I had heard that recently this b&b was under new management the staff were great tbh. We had a chat with one of the staff that were there when we got back from alton towers on the Saturday and he was incredibly nice. We had free breakfast with our stay. The only thing i will say is that the rooms were tiny and they didn't have...
