"Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. "Great location to stay a couple of nights for a sad family occasion. Jasper on the front desk was great. Facilities are OK but not perfect. At breakfast even in non peak periods, basic items were missing and tables unkempt. However our room was spacious and we would stay again though not if we wanted to feel spoiled or as a particular treat. "

"The hotel was ok and in a great location for our visit to Stoke-on-Trent. The room we were given was small, with the double bed up against the wall. When in the room there was the sound of water running and this never stopped, even after telling the reception and was told by them that the maintenance people would sort it out, but no, it kept on running!
