"My fiancé and I stayed here for one night after completing the Kinder Scout climb. It was easy to find and the service was fantastic as soon as we came in the door. The environment was warm, inviting and had a cosy feel to it - just what you need after a whole day of walking. We had some drinks with a ‘pie and a pint’ offer for £18 which was absolutely delicious. We also shared a starter and dessert which were equally as delicious. We slept really well, the bedroom was so nice and bed was soft...

We would have loved to have visit the restaurant beneath the rooms, however aware that this was under refurbishment. Room was amazing! Clean, comfortable and spacious. Thank you so much. "

"Awesome stay. Gorgeous pub serving delicious food. Staff were brilliant, even got us toothpaste from one of their houses as we had forgotten it and arrived late. Only negative was the breakfast time only ran from 8:30-9am (Monday). I didn't make it as I wanted to enjoy a sleep in. "
